Since the beginning, Dylan Thomas Vera felt connected to music in a special way. Born and raised in Las Vegas NV, being an entertainer was always in his cards. Music became his source of freedom and escape during his early teen years. Influenced by artists like Juice WRLD, brakence, and Mac Miller, Dylan began building an identity that would eventually become Tommy V. Raw, emotional, unpredictable, and unapologetically his own.

In 2020, while the world outside came to a standstill, Tommy V went deeper into his own. At just 16 he picked up and moved to Reno, NV. He spent countless days and nights locked inside a garage, sometimes recording for 12 hours straight, experimenting with sounds, rewriting lyrics, and turning whatever he was feeling into music. With nowhere else to go, he built a world of his own.

In early 2026, Tommy caught a wave of unexpected attention when a TikTok video of him being filmed from another car on the highway went viral. In the clip, he was in the middle of shooting content, with a camera strapped to the windshield and a microphone on the dashboard, a moment that perfectly captured his commitment to creating by any means necessary. The video reached 244,000 views and brought a new level of local attention to his name.

 As he’s grown, Tommy has also built connections with local creatives and talent, including Bozzy, a videographer known for work with artist Red Leather. He met Bozzy through a mutual online friend and started working with him upon moving back to Reno. Tommy has appeared in a content collaboration on Red Leather’s Instagram, further placing him in the orbit of rising artists and creators shaping the local scene. 

Tommy V is not trying to fit into what already exists. He’s building something that feels raw, cinematic, and emotionally charged. Music for people who have felt like outsiders but still believe they have something powerful to say. In the near future, he envisions an ever-expanding, loyal fanbase, a brand identity that is instantly recognizable, and performances in new cities across the country as he continues building a cult following around his world. A world that resonates with his affinity for archival grunge aesthetics and his signature sound, where dark pop and alternative pop collide with raw emotion and atmospheric intensity.

“I always had a connection to music. When I had all this hard stuff in my life, going down, I always found peace in that, you know? I remember I had this initial feeling where if you’re an actor, you’re always portraying someone else. But I had this key to portray myself to the world. And I feel like music was the best way to do that.”
